Brendan Murray will arrive in Tuam this evening for his official homecoming after his success on the X Factor.
The Tuam singer got through to the semi finals only to go out last weekend, just missing out on the final which will take place this weekend.
Gates will open at O Tooles SuperValu Car Park at 6pm this evening, and there will be entertainment prior to Brendan’s arrival with the X Factor star taking to the stage at 7.15pm to sing to his awaiting fans.
The 22-year-old assured fans that he’ll ‘be back’ after his surprise elimination from the competition alongside Danny Tetley on Saturday night.
He took to social media following the show, thanking the X Factor and Louis Tomlinson, and said that the memories he has made will last for the rest of his life.
Brendan was the second favourite to win the X Factor at the start of the competition and captured the hearts of viewers in Ireland and Britain in the auditions and throughout the live shows.
