Motorists travelling on the N84 on Thursday can expect traffic delays due to roadworks taking place.
Galway county council have said that roadworks will be carried out on the N84 at Sylaun by Galway Truck Centre.
The work is to facilitate the installation of traffic counters.
Work is scheduled to take place between 10am and 4pm on Thursday.
A traffic management plan will be in place throughout the day while work is taking place.
