The county council has extended the deadline for submissions on the draft Beach Bye-Laws by two weeks.

The public now have the chance to voice their opinion on the draft bye-laws up to 5pm on Friday, November 25.

The Bye-Laws themselves are currently on display on the county council website.

The draft bye-laws regulate the use of beaches for recreational activities such as surfing, wind-surfing, and more.

The also govern the presence of dogs on the beach, filming, prohibiting vehicles, the issuing of permits for traders, and more, along with the penalties for breaching the bye-laws.
