Health officials have reported 394 new cases of COVID-19 this evening, and no further deaths related to the disease.

Of the new cases reported today, 21 are in Galway. The 14-day incidence rate in the county now stands at 86.8 with 224 new cases confirmed over the past two weeks.

Dublin has the highest number of new cases with 194 while 34 are in Kildare, 21 in Mayo, and 20 in Limerick.

The latest data shows there are 227 people with COVID-19 in hospitals across the State, 50 of whom are in ICU.

There were twelve patients with COVID-19 in Galway’s hospitals as of Sunday evening in the latest figures from the HSE.

As of 8pm Sunday there were nine confirmed cases at UHG, a figure which has remained steady in recent days, and three at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

There is one confirmed COVID patient in ICU at both hospitals.
