COVID-19: 467 new cases reported today

Another 467 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported by the Department of Health today.

County breakdowns of the daily cases are still unavailable due to the cyber attack on the HSE.

As of this morning there were 99 people hospitalised with COVID-19 in Ireland, with 38 of them in the Intensive Care Unit.

The confirmed case numbers reported today may change in the future following further data validation, review, and update.

Plans were approved by the Cabinet for widespread reopening of the remainder of the economy over the next two months.

Arrangement are now also being made starting this week for pregnant women at between 14 and 36 weeks to be referred for vaccination.

However, it has also been announced this week that significant delays are expected in the delivery of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to Ireland.
