Health officials have this afternoon reported 242 new coronavirus cases in the Republic.
As of this morning, there are 67 people with COVID-19 in hospitals in the State, of whom 23 are in ICUs.
No county breakdown of cases was given by the Department of Health this afternoon.
They say that the daily case numbers may change due to future data review, validation and update.
