A burst water main and ongoing repairs are disrupting traffic and causing water supply disruptions in the Newcastle area of Galway City this morning.
Irish Water is carrying out repairs to a burst main on the Inchagill Road in Newcastle.
Repairs are currently expected to be completed by 2pm this afternoon.
A traffic management plan will be in place in the area for the duration of the works today.
People affected by this are reminded that it may take 2 -3 hours after repairs have been completed before their full supply is restored.
