Ballygar residents without water due to burst mains

A burst water main in Ballygar is affecting the water supply of residents in the area this afternoon.

Irish Water have reported that the water main in the east Galway village of Ballygar burst in the past hour.

Residents of St. Brendan’s, Ballygar, and Cloonlyon may experience a loss of water while the issue is being addressed.

Repair crews have been dispatched to repair the fault by Irish water.

A traffic management plan will be in place while the burst main is being repaired.
