Anne Rabbitte to run in European Parliament election

Galway East TD Anne Rabbitte has been added to the Fianna Fáil ticket for the upcoming European Parliament elections.

Deputy Rabbitte will be standing for the Midlands-North-West seat in the European Parliament elections taking place in May.

After initially failing to secure enough votes to get on the ticket at the party convention, Anne Rabbitte was added as a candidate by the party’s National Constituencies Committee.

She will be running in the Midlands-North-West constituency along with Brendan Smith, TD for Cavan.
