If you’re nervous about going to the supermarket right now, but still looking for some fresh veggies, then why not learn about foraging some of the most delicious edible plants on the Connemara.

Cruinniú na nÓg are holding a series of online workshops next week on foraging, harvesting and preparing edible plants and seaweeds that can be found all along the Connemara coast.

Learn how to enjoy three plants from the sea: Dilisk; Carrageen and Sea Spagetti (Rosach); along with three plants from the shore: Sea Kale (Cabáiste na Mara), Sea Radish (Meacán Mara, Ruphanus Raphanist rum), and Sea Beet (laíon na Trá, Beta Vurgaris).

No need to register or login anywhere, the three workshops will go up on their Facebook page and YouTube channel one a day from June 8-10.

All of the workshops will remain available online until June 13.
