Big Christmas parties might not be on the table this year, but there’s still plenty to treat yourself with over the holidays with the Connacht Hotel’s Festive Afternoon Tea.
The family friendly Connacht Hotel is serving gourmet afternoon teas with a festive twist for family and friends to meet in safety in the salubrious surrounding of the recently renovated hotel.
Some of the treats included are the beautiful red velvet verrine, with the Red Velvet cake also available in the restaurant every day.
Other mouthwatering delights include white chocolate and homemade jam Macaron, Christmas tree meringue, dark chocolate Truffle or Hazelnuts chocolate Truffle, all served with teas or coffee.
Of course, you just can’t have an indulgent lunch over Christmas without mince pies, and these homemade delights don’t disappoint.
If you’re in a festive mood, celebrating meeting up with friends why not add a cocktail, or a glass of bubbly or wine.
Younger guests aren’t forgotten, with their own set of offerings for a sweet tooth, such as the Christmas tree meringue, Vanilla Ice cream snowman, White chocolate cookies, Mince pies and milk chocolate candy mendiants.
