Met Éireann has updated tomorrow’s wind warning to include a four-hour status orange warning for Galway, Donegal and Mayo.
The status orange warning will come into effect at 12 midday, before being lifted at 4pm.
South to southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h with severe gusts in excess of 110km/h in the west.
Where winds are onshore, there is a risk of coastal flooding, Met Éireann has said.
A status yellow warning will begin in Galway tomorrow morning at 5am before the status orange warning comes into effect at noon. The county will remain under the status yellow warning until 5pm.
