Temperatures to soar to 29°C in parts of Galway!

Warm and sunny weather looks set to dominate this week and into the Bank Holiday Weekend, as Met Éireann forecasts temperatures as high as 29 degrees in parts of the West tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be dry and sunny, with temperatures generally around 25 degrees across Galway – but this could rise to almost 30 degrees in some local spots in the west of the county.

Winds will be light to moderate and tomorrow night will be dry with clear periods and patchy mist in places.

The fantastic weather looks like it will stick around for the Bank Holiday Weekend, with the West seeing the best of the sunshine and high temperatures.

Met Éireann says Friday is expected to be dry with sunshine and temperatures in the low to mid-twenties in the West.

As for Saturday and Sunday, it will remain dry for most areas with sunshine and temperatures again in the low to mid-twenties.

The weather experts say that early indications are that the weather will return to normal as next week progresses.
