Tuam RFC finds creative way to hold Player of the Year Awards

With the measures taken to halt the spread of COVID-19 across Europe, most events and gatherings have been cancelled or postponed.

However, the lockdown hasn’t stopped Tuam Rugby Football Club from holding its Player of the Year awards – all online of course.

Via the Zoom app, senior squad players, coaches and the President of the Club gathered to celebrate the awards ceremony.

Fifty players in total joined the online ceremony as head coach Barry Ruane read out the winners, which were voted online by management and players.
