Galway to face Mayo in All-Ireland football qualifier

Galway and Mayo will face of in Round 4 of the All-Ireland qualifiers in Limerick this weekend.

The All-Ireland qualifier match will take place at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 7pm this Saturday, July 6.

It will be preceded by the LGFA TG4 Connacht Senior Final Replay between Galway and Mayo at 4pm.

The CCCC said that finding a Connacht venue for the qualifier match was “not feasible” as “there was no agreement between the counties to toss for home advantage, and there was no other Connacht venue deemed capable of catering for the expected interest in the tie”.

Galway GAA said that they contacted officials in Mayo this morning but “Mayo GAA declined the offer to do the toss” for the venue.
