The 2018 county community games finalists for the hurling, camogie and football were decided last weekend and Ballinderreen will host 10 teams this Saturday (23rd June) to see who advances to the Connaught finals.

Claregalway/Lackagh qualified for three finals and will be hoping to make it a triple across Gaelic Football, Hurling and Girls Football.

They’ll contest the under 10 football final at 11.45am against Oranmore/Maree.  Clarinbridge will be their opponents at 1pm in the under 11 hurling decider.  And they’ll hope their triple crown ambitions are still on track when they face Oughterard at 3.15pm in the girls football under 14 showdown.

The opening game on Galway’s biggest team sports day begins with the under 14 camogie final at 10.30am as Athenry square off with Bullaun/New Inn.  And Dunmore/Garrafrauns/Kiltevna will also be seeking glory against Caherlistrane/Kilcoona in the girls football under 12 decider at 2.15pm.
