People living in the Newcastle area of Galway city may experience water outages or other supply disruptions next week due to repair works taking place.
Irish Water is carrying out mains repair works on the Newcastle Road which are scheduled to run from next Monday to Friday.
The works will take place from 9am on February 8 until 6pm on February 12.
This may cause supply disruptions to homes and businesses on the Upper Newcastle Road and surrounding areas in Galway City.
People affected by this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
