A woman who lost her life in a house fire in Bray this week has been named as Tuam native Ann Lohan.

Ms. Lohan was killed in a house fire at her home in Esmonde Terrace on the Greenpark road, Bray on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters found her body in an upstairs bedroom just before midday.

According to the Irish Examiner gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious, but are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The funeral for Ms. Lohan will be held on Sunday before she is laid to rest in Tuam cemetery.
