Roadworks at multiple locations on the N59 in Connemara will get underway on Monday, and are expected to take two months to complete.

Galway County Council is carrying road improvements at Gowlan West (Galway Road, Clifden), Moyard Village, and Eadargúil (Currywongaun).

The work taking place will involve planing out and reinstating the road surface, as well as road marking and access works.

These roadworks are set to get underway on Monday, July 20 and take approximately two months to complete.

Mayo based McGrath’s Limestone Ltd have been awarded the contract for these works.
