Ongoing roadworks on the M17/M18 Gort – Tuam motorway will involve overnight carriageway closures tonight.
The southbound carriageway at the start of the M17 motorway, at Junction 20 Kilmore, will be closed from 8pm on Thursday night to 6am on Friday morning.
There will also be closures at Junction 19 Annagh Hill to enable these roadworks.
Diverted will travel via the N83 to Bhaile Chláir and the R381 to Oranmore, following the M6 to the M17/M18 Junction at Rathmorrisey.
Full diversion routes will be signposted and both junctions will be manned during the works.
Tonight’s roadworks follow closures overnight on Wednesday on the M18 Northbound, with works at Junction 16 Gort and Junction 17 Kiltiernan.
