Roadworks near Monivea which are expected to take a week to complete got underway today.
Galway County Council is carrying out resurfacing works on the on the L7148 at Cuddoo East.
Traffic management measures will be in place on the road while these works are taking place.
The roadworks began today, and are expected to to last for a period of one week.
