Traffic improving after collision cleared from the M6

Motorway traffic has begun to improve this morning after the clearing of a collision from the M6.

Gardaí were advising motorists westbound on the M6 to expect delays earlier this morning due to an
accident at Junction 16 for Loughrea.

The two car collision happened near Kiltullagh at approximately 7am, reducing traffic to one lane.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.

AA Roadwatch reports that the collision has now been removed and delays are easing on the approach
from the N65.
