Burst pipes cause water outages across Renmore

A burst water mains pipe is causing water outages to multiple neighbourhoods across Renmore in Galway City today.

A burst main is causing water outages in homes and businesses in Renmore, Arbutus Avenue, Whitethorn Close, Beech Park, Yewland Green, Chestnut Close, Holly Grove, Blackthorn Park, Hawthorn Drive, Dun Na Mara and surrounding areas.

Repair crews are working on fixing the issue, Irish Water has said, and work is expected to be completed by 4pm this afternoon.

It may take up to three hours for full water supply to be restored to premises affected by this outage after repair work has been completed.

Updates for affected areas can be found on Irish Water’s Supply and Service page.
