One man was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries after a two vehicle collision on the N83 road outside the city this morning.
Gardaí attended the scene of a collision involving a car and a lorry at Two Mile Ditch at approximately 6:20am this morning.
The driver of the car, a male aged in his 40s was taken to University Hospital Galway with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries reported as a result of the incident.
The road was closed this morning, but has since reopened.
