Man in his 60s killed in Moylough house fire

A man in his 60s has died following a house fire in Moylough in the early hours of this morning.

Fire services and Gardaí were called to the scene of a house fire in Moylough after the alarm was raised at approximately 5am on Saturday morning.

After the fire was extinguished the body of a man in his 60s was discovered in the home.

The scene was examined by local scene of crime officers and the local Coroner has been notified.

Investigations are ongoing, but Gardaí say that foul play is not suspected at this time.
