Hosting an event Galway city Social Inclusion Week

Social Inclusion Week is returning to Galway city next month, and communities and groups are being invited to host an event during the week.

Social Inclusion Week celebrates and showcases the initiatives taking place locally to tackle social exclusion, poverty and deprivation.

The theme for this year is “Festival of Inclusion”, and events will take place during the week from October 14 – 20.

Galway City Council said this week is “a great opportunity for you to showcase your excellent work. We hope that by working together we can showcase all the good work that is taking place in Galway City.”

Event application can be downloaded online from the city council and must be returned on or before Friday, September 20 at 4pm.
