Gardaí have seized approximately €25,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb, following a search at a house in south Connemara this morning.
The house at Rosmuc was searched by officers from the Divisional Drugs Unit at approximately 11am on Tuesday morning.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized Cannabis herb (pending analysis) estimated to be worth approximately €25,000.
More than €1,000 in cash and other cannabis products were also seized during the search.
A man in his late 20s was arrested and is currently detained at the North Western Regional Garda Headquarters in Murrough under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.
