Galway daily news galway syndicate claims 133,000 euro prize

A Galway lotto player is celebrating today after scooping a €250,000 prize in Saturday night’s draw.

The quarter of a million euro payout was the top prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

Eason bookstore on Shop street sold the winning ticket to our lucky player.

Last night’s winning numbers in the draw were 3, 14, 24, 26, 30, 33 and the bonus number was 1.

There were no winners of Saturday’s €2 million jackpot or the Lotto Plus 1 prize of €1 million, making this the largest prize anyone took home.

Whoever holds the winning ticket is urged to contact the National Lottery headquarters in Dublin as soon as possible to claim their prize.

It’s been a great summer for Lotto players in Galway with a syndicate of co-workers winning €1 million in the Ireland only Euromillions raffle.

That ticket was sold at Spar in Ballybrit Technology Park in the city.

While another syndicate claimed a colossal €8.5 million jackpot back in May from a ticket sold in Corrib Oil in Louhrea.
