A free webinar hosted by BPW Galway this week will provide practical advice on strategies to cope with stress as well as insights on how to stay healthy during the pandemic.
Dr. Jane Walsh will arm those in attendance with some tools and tricks to not only survive, but to thrive during the ongoing Covid restrictions.
The online event will take place this Wednesday 17 February at 7.30om and aims to combat the fear and anxiety that many are feeling during the lockdown.
Dr. Walsh is a Health Psychologist and Director of the Mobile Technology and Health Research Group at NUI Galway where she leads an innovative research programme on health technology and behaviour.
She was recently awarded both The President’s Award for Research Excellence and The Dean’s Award for Research Impact in recognition of her work.
A keen triathlete, she is more aware than most of the important role physical activity plays in promoting and supporting mental Health.
The webinar is a continuation of the It’s Not Business As Usual Series and will take place on Zoom. It will include a question and answer session on the night moderated by Louise Sharkey of Vita – Nutrition.
