Merlin Woods is getting some welcome maintenance that will enhance this popular green area for city residents who love a walk in the woods.
Galway City Council is carrying out pathway resurfacing works in the woodlands, which will be getting underway on Monday.
The resurfacing works in Merlin Woods are expected to take four weeks to complete.
While they are ongoing, there will be some disruption to regular walking, and pedestrians are being asked to follow measure put in place to manage traffic.
