The Tree Council of Ireland and Coillte are partnering for National Tree Week 2023 which will take lace from 19 to 26 March.
Galway County Council will have tree saplings available free of charge to community groups, schools and other voluntary organisations.
Stock will be limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
The theme of this year’s National Tree Week is ‘Biodiversity begins with Trees’.
