Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a garda was assaulted in the city centre on Easter Sunday.
The incident took place on Williamsgate Street at around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone that may have recorded footage of the incident to contact Garda Station on 091-538000.
