Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe is completely free of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the latest figures released by the HSE.
As of 8pm on Monday there were zero confirmed COVID patients recorded at the Ballinasloe Hospital.
However there two suspected cases at Portiuncula, and three at UHG, for which test results were being awaited.
There remain another nine confirmed cases at University Hospital Galway, of whom four were in the intensive care unit.
Nationwide there were 392 people hospitalised with COVID-19 as of Monday night, with 101 of those in the ICU.
A further 20 new cases were reported in Galway yesterday, out of 437 nationwide, but fortunately there were no new deaths associated with the disease reported.
