Health officials have reported a further 13 deaths related to COVID-19 and 604 new cases of the virus in the Republic.

Sixteen of the new cases are in Galway, with the 14-day incidence rate in the county falling again to 119.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

A total of 224 cases were reported in Dublin, with 45 in Donegal, 36 in Kildare, 34 in Limerick and 26 in Tipperary.

As of this morning, 322 people with COVID-19 are in hospitals across the State, of whom 66 are in ICU.

760,168 vaccines have been administered in the Republic. Of those, 548,945 people have received their first dose and 221,223 have had the second dose.
