Galway City Council is holding a special hazardous waste collection event next week.
The waste collection event will take place next Saturday, September 9 at Ballybrit Racecourse from 8am to 12:30pm.
The event is only open to householders in the city and only those who register online will be allowed to enter.
Registration for the event costs €10, and no cash will be accepted at the gate.
Only the following items will be accepted:
- Paint, paint cans**
- Adhesives
- Old medicines
- Pesticides, Insecticides, Herbicides,
- Aerosols
**Maximum of 10 X 10 litre paint bucket containers.
