Burst water main causing disruptions to parts of Connemara

Repairs to a burst water main have been causing outages in parts of Connemara near Costelloe today.

Irish Water have been carrying out repairs to a burst mains pipe at Derrynea today.

This may have been disrupting the water supply to Derrynea, Costelloe and surrounding areas of the county today.

The broken pipe was first reported shortly after 11:30am this morning.

Though repairs were expected to be completed by 5pm this evening, people affected by this are advised that it may take 2-3 hours after before their full supply is restored.
