Burst pipes cause water outages in Barna

A burst water main is causing water outages to homes in Barna this afternoon.

Irish Water has reported that repairs are being carried out on a burst mains line at Na Foraí Maola, Barna this afternoon.

Homes and businesses in the surrounding are advised they may experience disruptions to their water supply while they are taking place.

Currently, works have an estimated time of completion of 4pm this afternoon.

A traffic management plan is in place in this area for the duration of these works.

People living in the affected area are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after repairs are completed for full water supply to be restored.
