This year’s Street Feast festival will truly be an exciting occasion as new changes announced make it a full weekend of celebrations.

Now in its 14th year, Street Feast will be held over two days instead of one for the first time meaning a full weekend of community celebrations all across the country.

This year’s Street Feast will also take place a month earlier on May 26-27. This is a great opportunity for people to get together with their neighbours and celebrate all that is great about their community.

Speaking about the changes, Neighbourhood Network CEO and Founder of Street Feast, Sam Bishop, said, “Running Street Feast over two days instead of one will give people more opportunity to celebrate together and plan around Ireland’s ever-changing weather.”

“But the essence of Street Feast remains rooted in our mission to encourage neighbourly connections and camaraderie through shared meals, gatherings, games and conversations.”

No matter what kind of place you live in, everyone is invited to participate and host gatherings. It doesn’t matter if you live in an apartment or house, all you need is a space to bring people together.

Street Feast has had parties organised in front gardens, on streets and greens, in car parks, laneways, local parks and community centres. Street Feast 2024 will see over 1,250 communities celebrating and connecting with people in their neighbourhood.
