A Galway man accused of sexual offences, including rape, has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court.
The man in his late 20s, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Galway District Court today.
He faces three alleged charges, two of rape and one of aggravated sexual assault, all against the same female victim.
The offences are alleged to have occurred at an address in Galway City in late 2019.
A book of evidence was served on the accused today, and he was returned for trial to the present sitting of the Central Criminal Court.
The accused man was remanded on the same bail conditions as on previous court dates.
