Local Enterprise event will help businesses find overseas markets

The Local Enterprise Office here in Galway is looking to the future with an event for local businesses on ‘Exploring New Markets’.

Next week is Local Enterprise Week, and with so much uncertainty on the horizon, its important that businesses in Galway have every possible option at their disposal.

That’s why the Galway LEO has invited speakers for a ‘Exploring New Markets’ event to provide businesses with the information they need to expand and find new customers overseas.

Professor Alan Ahearne, Director of the Whitaker Institute at NUI Galway, will be discussing Brexit, putting it in its economic context and laying out potential impacts and options.

Simon McKeever, CEO of The Irish Exporters Association, will discuss the export market and what supports are available for businesses looking to find overseas customers.

OnePageCRM founder and CEO Mic Fitzgerald will talk customer support and representatives from the patent office will be on hand with advice about protecting your business at home and abroad.

This free enterprise support workshop will take place on March 6 at the Connacht Hotel from 9am – 12:30pm.

Tickets cost €10 and can be booked online here.
