Galway’s renowned masters of visual storytelling Macnas are launching an exciting new youth theatre programme this Spring.
Macnas have this week launched a recruitment drive for young people aged 14 to 19 who are interested in learning all about spectacle theatre.
Macnas Spectacle Youth Theatre is a dynamic programme where young people will work with physical theatre, drumming, mask, stilt walking , dance, brass, large scale puppetry, fire effects and special effects.
The critically acclaimed spectacle company will be holding auditions, open to all, on April 19 at Fisheries Field in Galway City for this new programme.
All are welcome. No previous experience needed. The workshops are free and will happen weekly throughout the school/ community college term.
All you need to bring is curiosity, energy and yourself!
