A monthly classic cinema discussion group will begin next week at Pálás Cinema in Galway city.
Cinephile Paradiso kicks off at 6.30pm on Thursday 22 September with Alfred Hitchcock’s classic mystery thriller Rear Window.
On a Thursday towards the end of each month, there will be a screening of a classic film, followed by a discussion in the bar, and then a podcast will be released recapping the event.
All cinephiles and anyone who has an interest in film is welcome to attend.
Cinephile Paradiso aims to encourage the discussion of cinema, asking questions such as, ‘what is cinema, what do films mean to us, and how has this changed over time?’
