Gardaí in Galway seized more than €70,000 worth of vape oil and jellies suspected to be laced with cannabis, along with counterfeit weight loss products this week.
During a search of a home in Claregalway on Monday, August 17, Gardaí seized nine litres of oil for use in cannabis vapes with an estimated street value of €45,000.
In follow-up searched by the Drugs Unit, a quantity of suspected cannabis edibles (jellies), with a street value of €17,600 were also seized.
A quantity of a suspected counterfeit weight loss product – with an estimated street value of €10,000, was also seized.
No arrests have been made at this time according to An Garda Síochána.
