Met Éireann has issued another status yellow wind warning for tomorrow and motorists have been told to expect hazardous driving conditions on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
The second wind warning will come into effect at 10pm on Tuesday and remain in place until 3pm on Wednesday.
Heavy rainfall on Tuesday night and Wednesday could turn wintry in places and this will be accompanied by strong to near gale force winds.
Met Éireann said that this will lead to hazardous driving conditions and localised flooding.
A wind warning will also begin in Galway at 4am on Tuesday morning, lasting until 3pm.
