Once lucky Galway person recently claimed their €88,740 prize from the National Lottery HQ after winning the life-changing sum back in September.
The Match 5+Bonus prize was won in the September 19 draw with a ticket purchased at Daybreak Texaco, Swangate, Athenry, Co. Galway.
The winner said that they were in shock and disbelief when they realised what had happened, and hope to use the money to carry out some home renovation and treat themselves to a holiday.
“I’ve never won anything like this before, so when I realised what had happened, I just sat staring out the window for about half an hour in complete shock.”
“I eventually rang my sister and asked her to check the numbers for me because I genuinely couldn’t believe it myself. Everyone in the family is absolutely delighted for me.”
