Two people have been arrested in connection with raids that result in the seizure of €46,000 in drugs and cash, along with a car and a gold ring this week.
Gardaí searched two homes in the Loughrea area today as part of ongoing investigations into the drugs trade.
At the first property, Gardaí seized a car and a designer gold ring valued in the region of €4,500, along with quantities of cocaine and cannabis.
During the second search, cocaine with an estimated street value of €16,000 was seized, along with €21,550 in cash and £6,885 in sterling.
Two men, one in his 30s and the other in his late teens, were arrested and are currently being detained.
The seized substances will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis. A statement from An Garda Síochana said that investigations are ongoing.
