Further unsettled weather is expected in Galway this weekend, with Met Eireann issuing further warnings for heavy rain and possible snow.
The status yellow rain and snow warning for all of Connacht, Cavan, Donegal, and Longford will be in place from 12pm to midnight on Saturday.
Rain will be heavy at times on Saturday, and turn to sleet or snow, together with strengthening winds.
This will lead to difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility throughout the day.
Prior to that, ice and frost are expected to develop overnight on Friday as temperatures plummet below zero in many areas.
The low temperatures and ice weather warning for all of Ireland will be in place from 9pm tonight until 10am Saturday.
