The search for a 55-year-old man missing for over a year has been stood down today after the discovery of human remains.
Ray Hosty (55) was reported missing from Headford, County Galway, on Monday, April 1 2024.
Gardaí have said this morning that following the discovery of human remains, the missing person appeal has now been stood down.
An Garda Síochána thanked the public for their assistance in this matter.
