A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a very serious assault which occurred in Tuam earlier this month.
Father of two Adrian Ansbro received serious head injuries when he was assaulted at Foster Place Tuam shortly after midnight on July 11.
Multiple appeals for information were made following the assault.
An Garda Síochána have now arrested a man in his late teens in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear before Ballina District Court this morning, Thursday, July 29.
