Met Éireann has updated its warning for thunderstorms to status orange which will come into effect at 3pm today, Sunday.
Heavy downpours of rain and hail will occur in places leading to possible flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
Due to the thunderstorms’ sporadic nature, not all areas will be affected.
The Met Éireann warning expire at 9pm on Monday.
